    ...that no display drivers are optimized for the last corrected versions of Windows (like SP6a for NT or SP2 for Win2k) and I had many problems with ATI (not compatible with SP6a, LightWave and TCPIP) and NVidia drivers (freezings very often with my Geforce2 MX before I turn to 16 bits) for those specific Service Packs.
    This is essentially a commercial problem. The developpers have no time to adjust their driver to the last SP because they are allready working for the next release of the OS!

    That's an ignominy!

    Here we go again.

    Ivan, I am running Win2K with the 2 patch, and a Gainward Geforce2MX400 videocard, 960x1280 at 16million colours. No driver problems here, no freezes, nothing. Only some irritating moir

    Some of us run at 32 bit, so there.

    Actually 32 is a bit faster potentially, because the computer does not have to make a 32 to 24 bit conversion. The videocard runs at 32 bit natively.
