Are you sure that it was 299 CAD. I just checked the Xara.com website and the price is 299 USD. On Magix.com, it is 349 CAD. If it was lower, then perhaps you saw a sale price. You have to watch for the specials.

What renewal price is Xara offering you? Magix.com is offering me 149 CAD. I paid 129 USD in July for the renewal which turned out to be 172 CAD on my credit card.

I think your correct. On xara site it showed US dollars and on magix it is canadian, My bad.
