Designer Pro 11 - no icon on Windows Taskbar

Like the subject says - when I open Designer Pro 11 it doesn't place an icon on the Windows Taskbar. Nothing in the tray either. If I want to get back to it again after having user other apps I have to use Alt + Tab to find it. Never seen this with any other app. Assuming this isn't normal for Designer, how do I fix it? Windows 8.1. Pro.

I'm sure it is supposed to be there. Appears on task bar with windows 10. Don't have 8.1.

Always did it for me.

Two things to try. Close program and right click on the program icon and select Run as Administrator. You only need to try this once. It will either work or it work.

If not, go to the C: Program Files (for 64bit) or the C: Programs Files (x86), locate the designerpro.exe file, right click and select Pin to Taskbar.

Let us know if these steps work or not.

Well Run as Administrator did the trick, I now also get an icon when I run it normally. Thanks!
