Java runtime and Xara Modules

Trying to run a java based database Sentences,I have installed the java 2 1.31 module (w2k).
Once installed, both browsers, NE6.21, and IE6.026
where terminated, when clicking on Gary Priester's
Xara Xone feb 2002 tutorial.I thaught about what I have done, forgot about running Sentences (as
it do not support java 2, 1.4), downloaded last version of java plug-in from Sun ( ver 1.4),
installed (prev. deinstall the older ver), and
problem disappeared.
Hope serves somebody with the same problem.
