I've started to create my first ever website! It is nowhere near completion when it come to content but the 'look' is getting there.

Some feedback would be greatly appreciated!

I will take away the "enter" page once I get it all set-up. Only gallery1 with its thumbnails and images are set-up.

My goals: SIMPLE, quick loading and easy to maintain.

All graphics done in Xara X.

You already know how to make an efficient site.. Sure, when it's launched I'll send spam to all my friends about this great event in history. Your style is unique.

I like the design and love the fact that it's very fast loading for people like me who are on dialup connections. It brings me to what I went there to see faster--the content. Can't wait to see the finished page and to read about each of your works.

I can hardly wait until all the "bla-bla-blas" are filled in with risto-words.

Bound to get better! Risto, what a start. I've admired your art for some time, and your site suits it perfectly. I like the way the thumbnails turn to colour when the cursor is over them. A lot of work has gone into that site, I'm sure, but it will be a unique and super site.

    Risto,

To me, the site is just too dark. Your artwork is very colorful and distinctive. I think the site should reflect your style, and that includes the header, the navigation, etc.

If you want some great feedback, post your link to the website review sections of www.sitepointforums.com or www.gethighforums.com.
    Good luck.

    Robert
