newly added buttons don't appear when re opening programme

I've just discovered the content -aware scale tool in WDP365 - man, it's awesome
I've added it to my tool bar by using alt and dragging from the button palette, but the next time I open the software, the button's no longer there. This happens with the pen tool too ( which for the life of me, cannot understand why it's not in the drawing tools flyout by default).
Any help appreciated

Are you adding the buttons to a custom button bar or just to the Infobar? If not a custom button bar, try that.

You should be able to use XaReg to get the pen tool to stick. I've not tried it, I don't like the pen tool.

Are you meaning the content -aware photo resize tool LGF? It should be in the photo fly-out menu.

You can't permanently change the fly out tools. Try to drag it directly to the toolbar (below the Photo tools fly out for example) instead.
