Default Line thickness - want 5 or 6pt

    Hi there,
There's a huge difference between a 4pt and 8pt line thickness - I want to use 5 or 6pt - is there any way of achieving this in P&LD11? It doesn't allow you to type in a value in the line gallery box.
    Many thanks,
    LGF

Hi LGF, that's strange, may even be a bug. You can alter the value within the Set Line Width window but I agree trying to do the same in the Line Gallery is a real dogs dinner.

Thanks Egg - never even noticed the line width window before! - is strange that it doesn't work in the Line Gallery

If you regularly use/need line widths not available by default, you can customise what sizes appear in the line width dropdown list by using XaReg (the utility programme that provides access to specific Xara registry keys).

I should have added to my previous post, I also think that's a bug too, in XPGD (not being able to type in a line width size in the Line gallery).

Attachments doesn't seem to be working atm so I can't post a screenshot, but under "Lists" the sizes can be altered and added individually.

See my signature for links to XaReg if you haven't got it :-)

That's odd letsgofishing. Seems to work perfectly in mine. I drew a line and from the line width drop down I highlighted the value which I had set to 1pt and typed in 5 and it worked. Version 11.2.5.42127

Never give up. You will never fail, but you may find a lot of ways that don't work.

Works fine with Type ln any number in Set Line Width but does not work in Line Gallery in P&GD11
