Thanks Penny. I think colours can really make or break an image. These were my initial colours, but next time I might try different colour schemes once the image has been finished, before publishing to see what works best. I'd love to try it as a poster - and the beauty of vector is that it would be nice and sharp at any size.

Happy New Year, everyone.

I've not done any vector work for a while, but for this year, I want to do stuff on a more regular basis. Felt the need to do something last night, so came up with this lake sunset picture - perhaps subconsciously inspired by Llyn Brianne in Carmarthenshire with its tree-lined slopes intersecting the lake. Took about 2 hours.
