Lightbulb How to optimize large graphics for small screen display

I have a lineart image of a bear that I need to show in small size in a powerpoint presentation, i.e. the bear will be used to illustrate a population and thus it should work on screen when reproduced in e.g. 30 small bears within a rectangle. What's the optimal way to process a large jpg or tif bear line drawing for rendering sharp as a small symbol on screen?

I wouldn't second guess how PP renders images so I would copy and paste at full size then scale down and finally use Picture Tools > Format > Compress Pictures. You can then clone your bears.

I would size the bear down in your Xara product to a bit bigger than the size you need in PP. Then export as a PNG, with or without the background as required in the presentation.

Alternatively, I think that as long as your bear is line art = vector, then I would export as an EMF file. But I don't know what you mean by line art.

dagvon - What product are you using? Your profile shows no Xara products.
