    Default Possible "Black Friday" bargins?

Historically speaking, does Xara ever offer a special Black Friday sale price? I am considering upgrading to the new 365 version of Pro but hoping for a good price.

    Thanks,
    Bob

I seem to remember Xara did have some specials last year but probably not on Designer Pro X or Web Designer Premium.

Thank you Gary I appreciate your serious answer. I guess others thought I was joking. I know the current prices but other software providers/publishers sometimes offer 'Black Friday' specials and I could not recall if Xara ever participated in these things.

Sorry Bob but the link to the Xara Specials wasn't a joke. Black Friday is a US artefact that some UK companies may try to emulate. Just don't think it is mandatory.

I have to eat my words. In the UK this year the concept of Black Friday took off big time in online sales but less so in bricks and mortar stores.

I had a limited interest but found that most bargains were hype as there had been lower prices available earlier in the year.
Take Xara's BF offers. One product was £34.99, 30% off but earlier in the year the same was offered and an earlier version at £29.95.

It just seems to be a means to offload items the retailers overstocked earlier in the year.

The real pressure is expecting to find a genuine bargain where one doesn't exist forcing a surge in sales and a slump immediately after.

Christmas is now a shopping day!
