Xara Graphic Designer for 29.99

Is this as good a deal as it sounds?
The latest version I have is Designer Pro X8.1.4.30831 and I just got an offer for this:

Not much time left to get it, so tell me, is it a lot better than what I have? Should I get it?

If you can do what you want to do with what you already have (and I think you can) then you do not need it. Plus Designer Pro X 8 has almost all the features and is the time of the line.

HI CWN, totally up to you of course but I attach a link to the review of P&G11. You can compare it to what you don't have at present. There may be functions in XDP X8 that aren't in P&G11, I don't know, but as you can have both installed at the same time I'd say it's a very good offer.

Thank you for quick replies. I think I will get it since the price sells it. I dabble in so many graphics programs and maybe this will get me doing more Xara projects. Thanks for the link, Egg.

Well, it's not going to be part of the 365 model so I'd be inclined to go for it in that respect, but not many vector improvements since the version you already have.
The choice is somewhat bewildering, but that's always the case now.
