Hi Jimi, I wasn't 100% with your requirements in the first place.
Do you want them in the RED extreme browser edge or BLUE page edges?

Hi Jimi,
there might be something wrong with your document. When I right click the text objects to the left of the "now on sale" page then Xara crashes.
Hi Roly,
I guess I will from time to time.
yeah, thank you.
Ciao
Roly
Thanks to everybody who tried to help out on this. I ended up starting again and pasting the elements into the new document. Sadly it didn't make any differenece so I'm resigned to taking the problem into consideration when placing text and images.
I'm now trying to find a way to use a video as the backdrop on the home page. Anybody successfully done that?
I didn't try it, but this THREAD looks promising.
There was another one posted by RobXar but I can't find it right now.
Here is an example that uses javascript. It is a variation from another THREAD.
There is some code at the page head.
The video placeholder has a name applied. (Which is used in the code to identify the placeholder and to apply a style.)
The placeholder also has the video file attached (the name of this is referenced in the placeholder body code).
The placeholder size has to match the dimensions of video file.
The video tag used in the placeholder code is only supported in IE9 and later.
Some combination of browser and OS might not support the mp4 video.
Thanks again for the help siran.
This seems to work very well.
Edit. Seems I was a bit premature there. I have a small problem in that if I try to replace the current front page backdrop it doesn't go full screen. It justifies to the left. If I add a new blank placeholder instead it works fine but replaces all the other pages with the background video too. Clearly there are other names used in the original background that I need to work through.
