Hi All,
I want to implement a Menu Page similar to the page that comes up when you click on the Financial Times (https://www.ft.com/) Menu link (near top-left).
Is that possible with WD 365 Premium?
Thanks in advance.

Absolutely.
OK. I guess you want to know how.
Create a different layer for each of the drop down menus. These layers have to be above the MouseOff and MouseOver layers.
Link your menu buttons to the individual layers.

OK Here's an example you can play with.
The MouseOver button is not on the MouseOver layer but on the HOME pop-up layer. The HOME button on the MouseOff layer links to the HOME layer via Website Animation > Show Pop-up Layer > HOME
To take this further, you can use Text Links on the layer with your mouse over colors modified in Web Properties > Website > and un-check [ ] Underline Text Links.

Sorry to be such a dummy, but I find the Layers section of the manual to be daunting. Could you point me to a step-by-step tutorial for creating layers?
It is not hard, except of course if you are a new user and have not used Xara for 20 years.
Open the Page & Layer Gallery.
Click on the MouseOver layer then click the button New Layer.
Give the new layer a name, in this case HOME. Click on Layer 3 or whatever the new layer is called and then Edit the text as needed. If need be, drag the new layer title bar so the new layer is on top of the MouseOff and MouseOver layer.
And place your content on this layer. To to this select the new layer title bar and add your content: rectangle, graphics, text, etc. You can click the eye icon to make the layer invisible.

Can you clarify which menu you're refering to Harry, the one in Garys attached xar file or the one that appears when you click the hamburger icon?

The one taking up the left-hand column in your message.
When I activate the new "home" layer, it appears to be transparent. How do I change that? Please ignore thumbnail, it's an old version.

So, I now see essentially the same thing you show in your thumbnail, except the area labeled 1.Index is what's on my index page. Is that the original first layer or the new Layer 5?
The menu shown in your attached pic.
