Responsive slider for full-width video and photos

Hi,

I know in the past there has been talk about sliders - I recall Gary or Egg talking about one in particular. The name escapes me but it was about $100.

I just found this one on Envato for $17. MightySlider. I was going to give it a try, but can anyone tell me if I'd be barking up the wrong tree with it?

It seems to offer a good range of options - including video! Being JQuery based, will it work ok with Xara?

I can not really comment on the slider you mention here, but stuff on Envatomarket is typically geared towards usage with
content management systems. One had to have a closer look.
There's various products like Wowslider which are made with a broad field of application in mind. The mentioned product works
with Xara and supports video as well. They always seem to have some discounts going on, you won't have to pay 100 dollars.
