Wacky Races wasn't necessarily my most favourite, but there were so many other characters in the cartoon, Like The Ant Hill Mob, and Professor Pat Pending, and The Slag Brothers, and Peter perfect... and others!

So, I thought I would do a bit of a drawing, and share it with all the TG members.

If you want to draw one of your favourites, and share it with us, feel free to post your drawing in this thread.
Show us what you grew up with.
Nice job Rik! I feel the hannah barbara!

Thanks for fixing my fum pa Rik. That kind of thing and misspelling(not that I am a good speller anyway) seems to be a curse lately.

This cartoon character is not actually from my childhood, but as I've never grownup I thought it might still count here.

Patrick Star is from the relatively recent SpongeBob SquarePants cartoon series created by Stephen Hillenburg. Monthly viewing figures indicated that at its peak, out of the 50 million people who regularly watched the show, 20 million were adults! That makes feel a whole lot better!

I traced this picture using the clever draw and [big] nudge technique that one of the Gary’s (Gary Priester or Gary Bouton) invented.

much as I love and admire the two Gary's I wouldn't go so far as to say this was 'invented', rather disseminated as a 'trick of the trade'; and it's a good one, well worth pointing out

That was over 60 years ago, so they are all a very vague happy memory.

    Come on, Larry.
You can do better than posting a picture.
