The PC works fine with all the other software I got. Unfortunately X seems to be "moody".

Here goes for the concave forms:

    All is an illusion.

1/ draw a two circles, a smaller one and a bigger one.
2/ give the bigger one a linear fill with the light colour up left.
3/ give the smaller one a linear fill with the same colours, but with the lighter colour down right
(both if you want the light to come from up left)

4/ click on the magnet to snap to objects, and drag with the centre of the smaller one untill it is on the centre of the bigger one.
    Eventually bring to front

    5/ Group. Et voilĂ*.

I used no text, so Madame Xara behaves decently this time.

Putting a rolled bevel on the bottom elipse works pretty good too.

Great Buttons, Folks. It's nice to know that Xarians know about old-fashioned buttons as well as jellied web buttons. Some can handle threads too. I think my button holes did get stretched a bit in exporting, Gary. They were the hardest part; I worked too small. They stretched when I wanted them to move. The concave effect was achieved by bevels, I think. Cheers, Neil
