I agree with Acorn Gary. There's no need to do a custom install ~ default install allows you to uncheck simpliclean.

More importantly if Gilbert's upgraded to Xara12(?) the tool mentioned is no longer Colour Select/Erase. It's now called Select Colours to Enhance. Same icon however. To apply a transparency you right click & select Make Transparent. I can't recall if this was the same in 10.

I managed to uninstall both apps, and cleaned the machine..everything be fine. Thanks guys.
