font download error

i tried to download and install a google font just now and got this error
anybody know what it means?

If it's the Anonymous Font you're having issues with Frank, I just tested it and it downloaded as expected. Can only suggest you try it again.

Or see if Font Squirrel has it and download from there and install.

I install new fonts by opening the file which shows the font in different sizes and click Install. And one font, Oswald, I think it is, had more styles on Font Squirrel though I might have been hallucinating.

weird. i had a piece of text selected whilst clicking add font
i deselected the text, clicked add and selected anonymous and this time it worked
weird but you get used to it

hallucinating is good
i hallucinated that in xara i could select multiple layers to delete them
then i woke up

yeah, font squirrel is ok but what i like about dafont is that you can include your own text and see exactly what it will look like, like this http://www.dafont.com/fr/theme.php?c...aphics+dot+com

I think the Google font server gets swamped sometimes. I've had the same error as yourself, waited a half hour and it d/l's fine. Glad you got it sorted.
