You need to find the Embed code to add to the Clipboard: http://www.talkgraphics.com/showthre...980#post547980.

I had this problem. I had to go into my Google account, go to the Googlemap, put the postcode in to find the point on the map, then click on the three little lines, that give you 2 choices, one of which is embed. Copy this code and then go back to the Xara and click on the INSERT button, it loads the code from your clipboard. There is a little delay and it creates the map for you. Very easy and I managed to get a map on with 19 different point in the country, doing it this way.
Understand you can do it this way, BUT - the widgets are suppose to be dragged into the page and everything done from there. Why have to jump through hoops to get it done?
No, the Widgets access the third party publicly available API and are quite clear in their instructions.
Xara > Help > Search: "Widgets from other widget sites":
http://www.xara.com/us/widgets/:Copy the code from the widget provider to your system clipboard, just as you copy text in a word processor. Sometimes the widget provider may even provide a 'copy' button which copies the code for you.
AcornJust copy the widget's code and paste it on to your web page.
