    Default Lamp

I wanted to draw a lamp and the one from the movie "A Christmas Story" came to mind. This how I remember it.

Looks good Watcher900. I have a small version of one of those. Mine inches tall maybe 14 to 18 inches tall not the big honking one lile in the movie.

Never give up. You will never fail, but you may find a lot of ways that don't work.

Can you walk it around the room to where you need more light? Fun image.

    I like it very much.
But, the base just doesn't look right to me.

The bottom part of the base, can't be wider than the top part, considering we're looking at it from towards the top.

What you could do, is to draw a circle, then use the 3D tool to tilt the circle to the angle you want - and that way you'll have the correct perspective.

However, from the base upwards, the drawing is very good indeed.

Thank's Rik, Ron, GWP, & Wizard for your comments. I had trouble with the base as you can see, and I was at a loss as to how to get it right. I'll give your suggestion a try Rik. Thanks for the help.
