Default XDP365 isn't showing image DPI accurately as Photoshop does.

    Hi,

    I would appreciate help:
I've made my testing image with 300dpi available for access at https://goo.gl/oxlpLM
When I open the image in Photoshop, the image is showed having 300 dpi.
In XDP, the image is showed as 96dpi in the bitmap gallery. I even set XDP to VIEW>BITMAPS>Import at dpi specified in the image file. But this setting didn't make XDP shows the correct image dpi.
In the same link above I attached a snapshot comparing the image dpi showed by XDP and by Photoshop.
Does anyone know how to make XDP to show correct image dpi (in that case 300dpi)?

    Thanks for assistance,
    Cadu_

The image you have attached here is 96 dpi. In the off chance that the forum software altered it, you should ZIP it and then attach the ZIP file.

    Yep.

XDP X11 shows the information correctly, both on the page (import size is correctly sized/scaled for the 300 dpi) and the info in the bitmap gallery is correctly reported.

XDP X (365) shows the information incorrectly in the bitmap gallery. As well, upon import, the sizing is incorrect (smaller on the page and hence higher dpi).

"Import" vs. "Open"; Import into open document comes in at 300dpi, Open (photo) yields image @ 96 dpi.

I used the word, Import, Fred. Which is what I mean.

In XDP 365, the Import is not correctly shown. It is not correctly sized on the page. Using Open, it also is not correctly shown, etc.

At least on my system and the OP's...

However, as I mentioned, using XDP X11 it is all correctly imported--and opened.

I'm not seeing a problem with PNG's - the file posted by OP [both links] is at 96dpi, but if i import it into CS6 PS it is 72dpi - I think the problem is in the file...

The bitmap at the link is 2000px X 1460px.

The header reports 300 dpi. It should place on the page at 6.6666667 inches across.
