    Default Recoloring an Eagle

Looking for something to do I came across this clip art drawing of an Eagle. There are a lot of lines to trace and I haven't done anything that busy as yet so I gave it the old reform school try. I colored mine brown.

    That's a great job.
    But...

I think the shadow takes away from the drawing.
I'd like to see it without the shadow, so that I can really make my mind up?!

Hi Rik, Here it is without the shadow. I also used layers (8) with this and it helped to stay focused on one area at a time.

Everyone will have their own opinions (including you!).
But, I much prefer this one.
    Excellent.

Thank's Rik, I value the critical opinion of all the people here in Talk Graphic's. "Atta boy's" are nice and I like them as much as the next guy but, pointing out what doesn't work or things that could be done better is really how we learn and improve. Thank's again.

I agree with Rik, Watcher. Far better without the dropshadow. Eagles cast shadows obviously but rarely as you've used it. Nice work.

Never give up. You will never fail, but you may find a lot of ways that don't work.
