image maps clickable hotspots

Can anyone point me to how to make a map with clickable hotspots? I see there is an image map export format in Xara P&GD 365.

I just had a quick look and I don't think so. But here is an easy way to accomplish this.

Add a rectangle that covers most of the state/country/county area. Add your link and make the rectangle about 99% transparent. Do this for the rest of the map.

You can make more complex shapes if you need to but exporting this might increase the load time for the page.
