Changing web address

Hello Gurus,

Just started with Xara, so I am a "newbie" at 71 years, so please be gentle.
I developed a website "http://kr7boq.xara.hosting/Gateway%20to%20Ararat/index.htm" to promote our town (at my costs) and put pressure on certain "organisations" to be more careful with rate payers money.
BUT, I stuffed up.
I would like to be the address something like http://araratgateway.xara.hosting or something similar. Even http://araratgateway.xara.hosting/Ga...arat/index.htm or http://gatewaytoararat.xara.hosting/...arat/index.htm would be great, anything else but http://kr7boq.xara.hosting/Gateway%2...arat/index.htm
Would any of you gurus point me into the right direction of how to go about it, please.
At present I am using the free hosting service provided by Xara, but I am quite willing to get myself another web address, if I need to.
Any help gratefully accepted.

Go to https://www.xara-online.com/ and log in.

Go to My Domains and you will see your current dog's breakfast of a domain name.

There is an option to Rename My Domain. Try out your new name and if it is not taken it's yours.

You can also purchase a more appropriate domain name in which case it will not have the xara hosting part in the URL.

To be honest, on some parts of this website, you do your town a great dis-service.

On the opening page you have cartoon jokes about seniors - these could be funny in an email to a friend, but really are nothing to do with promoting the town and suggest it's just a place for retirees (and that idea is supported by your guide to moving). "Sometimes, we all feel like that?" No!

Then you go on to invite people to rate the council - only after you've made a rant against that council.

You need to decide what it is that this site is about - it's either about pushing your own views, or it's about promoting the town. It can't do both.
