Leicester City Football Club - 2016

This is one of the most amazing stories in football history.
(At least in English football history.)

Leicester City FC, just survived relegation last season.
And now, they are just a whisker away from winning the top prize in the Premiership, in England.

So, I'm posting their crest, in black and white, in anticipation of their achievement.

I will post the colour version, as soon as they achieve their dream.

Leicester only got a draw against Manchester United.
All they need now is for Chelsea to beat Tottenham, or at the very least, not get beaten by Tottenham. Then Leicester win the biggest prize in English Football, in their 132 year history.

So, as you said, Egg, 'Here's hoping...'

It's probably the biggest story in world football.

Congratulations to Leicester City

out foxed them all...

Tottenham had to beat Chelsea, to have any chance of challenging Leicester for the title.
They were 2-0 up on Chelsea at half time.
The match was being played in quite a heated atmosphere. So much so, that I actually stopped watching the match.

Later on, Lynn looked up the results and said, "It was a 2-2 draw!"
I couldn't believe it. It felt like a shock, but, in a pleasant way!

All neutral football fans, as well as supporters of other clubs (I'm sure) are delighted at Leicester's achievement.

Leicester's Remarkable Achievement:

• First League title in their 132 year history
• First new champions of the league in 38 years
• Started the season at odds of 5000/1 for the title

What a refreshing story - achieved on 2 May 2016.
