But I hope Xara doesn't fall into the 2.0/3.0/4. whatever thing, I like when they come up w/ original names!

These illustrations are very very good, I love them all. They all had some thought and effort put into them and turned out really well. So much skill and talent residing here in these forums! Keep up what you do best and any more entries are welcome! Great job guys & ladies

Simple, elegant, leaves a vivid X-impression and a graphics-drawing visual impact. This is the one that really stayed in my mind.

I don't care for the X-squared, but that is nit-picky.

    Good job, Michael!

I had not seen Michael's before I did mine, but we ended up w/ the X-squared thing and I like it (not just cuz him and I had the idea, I think he had it first). X-squared is a very commonly used variable in math and this would stay in somebodies mind I think. Plus it just sounds cool

Well I'm not sure what to say!! Thanks for the compliments!

Steve, it seems great minds think alike!

Dale, what would your preferred name for the next version be?? I think the simple 2.0 idea is just too boring, but I think continuity in naming is a good things...

    P.S. Here's a box design I did for a laugh!

I like sticking with the "X", and I prefer conventional numbering. Xara 2 or Xara 2.0 are OK with me.

Artists are always wanting to be creative, but the name and version number shouldn't be messed with. There are a number of ways to combine the name and number.

    Here's mine.
