How can I get Xara websites to print properly?

When printing most Xara websites/webpages, the document splits elements of a page into multiple pages, rather than printing a page that mirrors what you see on the computer screen. This happens with most of our sites, and I viewed several other sites that are posted in different threads here but could not get them to print properly. Does Xara have a way to remedy this?

I've tried different browser settings such as changing the document size (30%, 40% on up to 100%) and have also experimented with landscape vs portrait settings but could not find a solution.

I would export to a pdf and print from there if you must print.

It's all to do with your printer driver, printing in A4, as maybe your web page is longer & wider than an A4 page and that's why it splits. Make a printer friendly version of your site or pages and link it from to an area/icon with your printer friendly pages which are stored in your index folder that should work.

This sounds ideal. Is there a menu selection or a quick way to set up a printer friendly version in Xara WD11 Premium?

I tried several that are posted in the Xara Web Gallery, and more specifically, we just launched www.enlightenedcupcake.com. The site owner asked if there is a way to get the site to print out in a larger font.

I think Albacore's suggestion to make a printer friendly version is a good solution; just need to figure out how to create a printer friendly version.

If you must then you can use a screen grab plugin for your browser which will capture the full page and then save it as a png which can then be printed to any size you want.

Just make a screengrab image and link to it in a new window.
