looks good.. but when I go to make my brush after converting line to shape.. adding the fill and the create a new brush i get a message saying Unable to create bitmap for brush stroking, you may have zoom up to high or you have a brush that is too big. i have followed exactly what you have said and I get that warning.. then another box comes up saying Spurious Internal error has occured.

can somebody help me on this?

Are you referring to my teddy bear tutorial?

If so, I cannot imagine why you would be having this problem. I'm not even sure why Xara would be trying to convert the lines to a bitmap as it uses each line independently of the other.

How old or new is your computer? And how is your video RAM and System RAM?

Have you downloaded and installed the patch for the CD. Latest version is 1.0d

If you have could I suggest that you post the Xar file - as far as you get without the crash - then we may be able to see what is wrong.

Yeah the Teddy Bear Tutorial.. I re-installed it again.. and it now is working again

As for the computer. its and Athalon 1.2 Gig with 512 Megs memory.. and the Video Card is a 32Meg GForce MX2..

I think maybe a crash did it.. and reinstalling it did the trick.

Nothing is worse than something that does not work.

For some reason this weekend, my system decided it would not connect via FTP to certain sites. It would to some but not to others.

I called by ISDN supplier who tested my entire system, I called Earthlink my ISP, no one had any solutions.

Then yesterday, the problem just went away and I was able to connect to all the sites again.
