Does any know if there is a spiral generator that makes spirals you can drag and drop into Xara Pro 11? The one I use to use in previous versions (SPX Spiral Generator by Dmitry Malutin) does not seem to work.

Does the one included with 11 not work for you?
You can find it under Insert/Shape/Spiral
Thanks Dutchim! You just made my Xara experience much easier. I didn't know that option was there or available, still learning new things about the program. Very cool. Thanks again!

Glad I could help
But you can drag an spx spiral to the desktop and then drag it into or import into XDP11.

Since DP 11 I find it just so much more intuitive to insert a spiral smart shape, and you can no longer drag directly from spxe into Xara. Also the keyboard short cut Shift +s will drop the new smart shape right into your document.

Autocorrect: It can be your worst enema.
But if one wants to use the spiral generator, you can still export it and import it.
From Designer Pro X11 First Look. Either double click on the spiral or select the Quick Shapes Tool (double click automatically enables the QuickShapes Tool)

Also worth knowing:
Drag the inside point out beyond the position of the outside point to reverse the path. Handy if you want to apply a stroke.
Here's one using mainly the spiral tool.
