Lucy and the Football

Surely I cannot be the only person who refers to Peanut's Lucy promising Charlie Brown she will not pull the football away and then pulls the football away as Lucy and the Football.

I went to the Microsoft Windows 10 support page and scheduled a phone call for today at 3:00. What did I think, they would actually call?

So, at exactly 3:00 the phone rings. A voice says this is the Microsoft support call I requested.

Then the line I was transferred to rang, and rang, and rang, and rang, and...

Sigh

..you must have pressed "1" for a call, when you clearly needed "2" for a conversation.

MS have responded in a timely fashion within the service parameters..

Infuriating, isn't it?

It's like those companies that promise to respond to your household within X hours. The consumer imagines a man at the door to sort out the problem, while the truth is someone will phone and make an appointment to come in a week's time.

"Good Grief" - the lack of respect that companies show their clients just bytes. Gary, maybe you should send Snoopy to fly his dog house over there and drop Woodstock on their head.

You're not alone Gary. I get this more often than not when I try to contact a company, though there are a few who still have very good customer service.., very few.
