Okay, on the attached dwg. I need to remove one of the lines, edges to make a larger polygon as seen in the second dwg. Can someone tell me how I can do that. Just starting with this app.

    TIA

as far as I know you can't delete a line between two polygons, however you can simplyfy -> in one of the menus - your object, which will remove unnecessary lines and reduce the number of polygons.

    Maybe this will help.

You can delete the middle row of points and bridge them back together again. But as for the larger poly all the others have to follow suit in that row or you will have 5 sided polys or pentagrams which C4D does not like at all and smoothes the mesh very nastily.Chances are your tute is for an app with N gons which do allow 5 sides etc

You can do this but I am not sure if it messes up your tute or not.

what's the purpose to remove one single edge? What do you want to achieve with it?

    Doesn't make sense to me...

Thanks all for your replies. This tut I am working on is for C4D, modelling a car. I have gone back and resarted from the beginning and corrected a problem i had.

Jens, I did not want to have to do this but I screwed up somewhere in the tut, and just wondered if it was possible.

    Thanks again

No on the Amapi7 front. No time. By the way, I thought our Canucks had it last night, wrong again. Bummer! And I had them picked in my pool to go all the way.
