Beautiful image, Paul. I try the extrusion tool sometimes but sadly I have never really learned to use it effectively.

Never give up. You will never fail, but you may find a lot of ways that don't work.

Thank you Rik and Wizard for your comments. Its nice to be back on TG. I too had a hard time with the extrusion tool at first. BP gave me a few tips that helped me get past it awkward interface. That's one of the reasons why I am working with Gare to create a simple tutorial on how to use the extrusion tool. Its such a powerful tool, I am surprised that there are not more tutorials on how to use it in our drawings. We could add a lot more in depth to the things that we draw with this tool. I remember Francis was sharing some tutorials way back when. Maybe when you guys get more familiar with it that you will share some of the things that you create with it. I'm one to help share the wealth and I know that you guys are too.

Hi Psaumure, you mentioned that you are working with Gare to create a simple tutorial on how to use the extrusion tool, when might this be coming out?

For those of you that were waiting for a tutorial on some of my 3-D extrusion work, It's here. Gary has finished putting one together for you in Xara Xone. (A BIG Thank You to Gary B. for all his hard work putting this together for us.) It's actually featuring the battery that I did in the thread.

    Enjoy,

    Paul
