Default Zoom bug? Does it happen to anybody?

    Does this happen to anybody?
If I zoom to 100% I can only see about 9 inches above the page
If I zoom to 125% I can only see about 7 inches above the page
at 160% zoom, I see about 5.5" inches above the page and so on, if I zoom to 25000% I can only see about .25" above the page
Zooming on the bottom is also a little strange, but I usually have objects above the page

I'm using PGD 7, but I noticed it happen in at least 2 previous versions
    Is this normal behavior?

win 7 64 now with 4GB and before with vista and win 7 32 with 4GB

Sorry, but I don't follow your measurement system. My monitor is only about 10" high. Zooming to 100% doesn't even give me a full page, never mind anything above it. If you zoom to 100% then a 8½" x 11" page should measure about (give or take) 8½" x 11" on your monitor. How big is your monitor? How big is your page? 100% should be full size.

Please can you clarify what you are asking?

My monitor is 22" and when I zoom in, the deeper the zoom, the less I can see above the page
at 100% I can see all 24 lines and select them
at 200% I can see 15 lines and select only those I can see
at 500% I can see 5 lines and only select those
In all cases I can't scroll the page up so I can select more objects and I need to zoom out so I can see them and select them
I hope I was able to explain it properly here's a screen shot showing what I see
My monitor is about 12" high, and I'm using the standard template so I don't know if that has anything to do with it

try increasing the outer margin size, on the page size tab of the program options - this has an effect on the zoom area

I already have it at 48" since I work with big graphics and that's about the maximum

if you are in multiple page view then the page area is automatically positioned towards the top of the available area - I guess this makes it easier for the program when you have more than one page

when you untick multiple page view the page is re-positioned in the middle and so the top is no longer constrained

edit - but don't forget to retick if you want to add pages or you won't see them [unless the program reverts back automatically, which it might, can't remember]

    That makes sense
It's good you mention the pages bit or I would never know, even though I almost never add pages

The outer margin plus the pages size has the what, 98 inch limit? Something small like that.
