Brushes cause crash in vesion 11 xpgd

The brushtool needs an overhaul as it keeps crashing the program completely everytime.

I did also log this at the error system at Xara

-set enable pressure recording
-try to select the pressure stroke option(which doesn't seem to be available)

With the new brushes the program crashes immediately,
even with the default brush the program crashes immediately.


Win8.1/64bit
wacom graphire 4 tablet

uninstalled drivers->cleaned registry->reinstalled drivers->restarted system->run as admin

Pressure recording and tablet does work in version 10 DesignerPro

sure hans - and your symptoms a little different

could be a win8 [api?] issue, I have just tested it on win7 home and it so far works as it should - no pressure issues or crash - just off to report in other thread...

Might be the case,thought to put it here so it can be resolved in the upcoming pro version
But again,pressure and tablet use works in version 10

Tablet pressure doesn't work for me in v10, XP&GD. Wonder why. I haven't tried it in v11 yet.

I too am using Windows 7 and appears to be working OK. Using Wacom Intuos

Not registering pressure sensitivity when using the shape tool and crashes using the new brush tool with the pressure sensitivity activated on a Toshiba Encore 2 Write with Windows 8.1. This has a Wacom Active S Pen I do believe.

Seems to be working okay on Windows 7 with Wacom Intuos 4.

So I think it narrows down to the running a 32 bit program on a 64 bit machine
At least that's what i deduce from the latest responses,right
