help changing Xara file to PDF ...

I'm trying to change my xara files to PDF, when i export the files they appear slightly different e.g logo is out, contents numbers are out of order and deleted numbers show up? what am I doing wrong? any help would be appreciated please

It's really hard to say without seeing your file. Can you post your .xar file here?

Well the numbers on the spec drawings are not meant to be there, i have exported in all qualities to see if that worked but it didnt, when i exported it in Jpeg they wern't there but they want a PDF.

If you change the view quality to wire frame, you will that the numbers etc. are there.

Look at the attached image, that shows, that in wire frame view, you can see text that seems to be part of the drawing.
And then it appears that you've used opacity mask to hide what you don't want.
Then written text over the top.

EDIT: It would be easier to use shape and then use slice (cut) shapes, to remove what you don't want. Instead of using opacity mask.

But in general, edit out what ya don't want, don't try to hide it.

Thanks alot for advice it really helped me people so thankyou, I though i was "editing it out" by using the eraser tool? guess i was wrong I am very new to this lol, how did you change the view quality to wire frame Rik? Again thanks heaps!
