I want a site to start with a welcome message that moves (after a few seconds) to the actual home page of the site. I know this can be done with an html entry, but can this be done in Xara? I'm going to be upgrading to 11 premium in the next few hours. thks for assistance.

Rufin, to answer your specific question, it is possible to have all the contents of an index page Mouse Off Layer to be revealed.

I open the Childhood Dreams template.
I placed a number of objects on the MouseOff layer and put them to the back (Ctrl+B).
I used the Page & Layer Gallery and used Ctrl+Select to pick those items i wanted to reveal.
I then used Web Animations > Reveal: Fade; Once only; 10secs Delay.

You don't need a page transition.

If you choose to use the META HTML approach then you add the redirection into Web Properties > Page > HTML code (head).
