    Default Family Coat of Arms

My interpretation of the Duke family coat of arms.

Family Motto on coat of arms: "we conquer by degree" Latin: "Gradatim vincimus'

    Just a fun project...

    Nice, Ron.

That's something I've thought about too. Not much point now, I'll never make it look that good ....

Thanks Ron. I'll look into that and see if my family lineage indeed had a family crest. I hope so because that is so cool.

Love drawing coats of arms Ron.

I wonder how true to fact they really are. All surnames seem to have a coat of arms!

I can imagine way back in the 13th century the equivent of todays Indian subcontinents call centre contacting my Great Great Great Great Great Great Great Great Great Grandfather and saying "Hello Mr Bramhill, my name is Hamish and I'm contacting you on behalf of Coat of Arms cotdom. Do you realise your family doesn't have a coat of arms? For a small fee ........"

And so it came to pass that all Europeans had a coat of arms just for their family name.

Mind you with a moniker like Duke yours probably did
