Yes, Steve. I have Zoner 16 Pro as well. Agreed, it's a great application. When you say you don't get PDF thumbnails, do you not get this:

No I don't. Only in Windows Explorer do I see PDF thumbnails.
Maybe because I use FOXIT Reader as my default PDF viewer and Zoner looks for the Adobe .dll for thumbs...

I use PDF-XChange Editor as mine. Although I probably still have the hated Adobe reader on my computer somewhere ....

Is PDF checked on the Display Preferences ... I have "Show All Files" checked.

thanks for the info keith - I don't actually have much use for either of these, but I have used xn-view in the past

I don't hate AR; it has some rendering issues, but ever since I had to take CMYK seriously I have stuck close to adobe, because it works - not familiar with PDF-Xchange Editor, but as I have Acrobat I guess I don't need it

Yup, everything was checked by default and still is.
Adobe's Reader has never been on this particular machine.

I have ZPS Pro 16 can show .xar file thumbnails like Windows explorer, it doesn't actually view .xar files? Is this what you mean't Keith?
My version doesn't view PDF files either...
