Default Drawng Siuze and Export Size Don't Match

I noticed recently that when exporting files that the drawing size does not match the size exported. Say for instance that my drawing is 600 x 300, when exported the drawing comes out to be smaller. Is there a setting to change that allows for the drawing size and exported size to match?

    Thanks

Are you exporting at a higher DPI than 96?
Please post a sample xara file for test purposes.

After hitting export, when the dialog box shows up, you need to click on Bitmap Size (2nd tab) and set to whatever resolution you want. If you don't click on Bitmap Size, the default export resolution is 96 dpi and thus lower quality.

as steve said, a file showing the problem would help

in principle, if your drawing is 100% vector and you export it at the default 96 dpi it will be the same size; if you have non-vector content [eg photo/bitmap] that was imported at a different dpi then there may be an issue

the size of the export is the pixel size, nothing else; you can see the pixel size in the xara work space, and you can see the size of the export in the export dialog box, are they the same?

it's important to remember that the viewing size is dependent upon the way the program in question works when you import an exported file into another program

all the above assumes you are exporting in a non-vector format
