Thanks cshz, I didn't have time to get to it yesterday.

@ woodpecker it might be best to do it small chunks. As with all forms of art it's a cinch by the inch. I looked for Gary's chicken tutorial yesterday and couldn't find it, however the rubber ducky tutorial is and would be worth your time doing.

I realize this isn't what you are asking about but could be helpful.

Never give up. You will never fail, but you may find a lot of ways that don't work.

Follow Cshez advice about locking the image layer.

Here is a mini tutorial to hopefully get you started, As you can see I didn't do very much of it but hopefully enough.
The comb required the most work, with fills and transparencies, but, you could take it further if you wish.

Ok, I made some progress, using the shape tool I cloned parts of the original picture, but when I tried to paste the cloned objects in a new blank page it did not appear, so how do I manage the cloned object.

Woodpecker, I don't think you're grasping the concept at all. Try watching this:

    Egg

Intel i7 - 4790K Quad Core + 16 GB Ram + NVIDIA Geforce GTX 1660 Graphics Card + MSI Optix Mag321 Curv monitor
    + Samsung 970 EVO Plus 500GB SSD + 232 GB SSD + 250 GB SSD portable drive + ISP = BT + Web Hosting = TSO Host
