If you're listing names on a certificate of appreciation and not signatures..

1) Why not use normal type not scanned writing? It's the names that are important.
2) If you must use written text, why not write on the certificate itself and scan as a single image?

Then just use a text column. Click the Text Tool on the page, key in the first name, hit Enter (or Return) key in the second name, hit Enter (or Return), etc.

No, no checks (what are those, anyway?). This is for a vertical list of 100 names (not signatures), in alphabetical order, to put on a certificate of appreciation.

"checks" are American bank cheques (Engiish spelling).

Sounds like what I was looking for (but what's a sacn?). And need the bitmap be TIF, GIF, or what?>

"sacn" was incorrectly spelt; it should read "scan".
