I have three shapes in a group. The bottom one is just a rectangle, and the two on top of it are more complex, with curved lines going to the edges (it's in one of the templates). I want to curve the corners of the whole group. I can ungroup and do this for the rectangle with the shape tool, but not the other two shapes.
So what i'm left with is the curved rectangle I want, but with curved lines on top that stretch out to where the corner of the rectangle used to be.
It's not ideal, but I thought I would be able to solve this by creating a triangle the same colour as the background, and curve in the long edge to fit the curved edge of the rectangle, so that this would cover up the excess lines. It's a simple shape, just a triangle with one edge bowed in, but I can't find any way to do it. I create the triangle, or even a rectangle, then want to "Convert to Editable Shape" which according to the help should be Ctrl+1 (which doesn't work) or on the Arrange menu, which it isn't.
I guess an alternative way to get what I want would be if I could crop the shapes on to to match the outline of the shape below, but I can't work out how to do that either, as Ctrl+3 to intersect doesn't seem to work in WD10 either.
What am I doing wrong? It's hard to believe that something so basic can't be done, so I'm hoping i'm missing something.
