    Default Error Code

I am struggling with an Internal Program - Error Code 1836.k.no.nt Couldn't find anything on the forum. Does anyone know how to troubleshoot this? Any help would be appreciated.

These do pop up occasionally and are more an annoyance than anything else. As long as it does not prevent you from moving forward, just ignore the error message.

If you want just shut down Web Designer and then reopen it. This often helps if this error message becomes a bother.

But of course, I forgot the first rule, shut down the program and shut down the computer. Thanks!

You don't even need to reboot. Usually closing the program will force it to save your work and then when you reopen it with any luck the gremlins will have departed and gone on to bedevil another application.

This specific error means that there's a shadow group in the document which doesn't contain any object to shadow. So it's a shadow that's not doing anything, which the program would normally delete automatically.

Closing the document and reloading it will sometimes fix this problem but if it doesn't you should find the bad shadow group using the Object Gallery and delete it, if you can.

In general, any Internal Error means that something has gone badly wrong inside the program and as soon as you see one you are best advised to save your work, close the program, restart and reload. If you ignore them then the problems could build up and result in a more serious crash.
