It's well worth doing coldwetnoz and if you like all things transparent and glowy then look up one of my favourite tuts. by G.P. the glass pushpin, tricky, but well worth the effort

I know. I enjoyed doing that one, too. I always go and look at the old tuts. They just seem to be more enjoyable. I also like the landscapes.

I enjoyed the pushpin too. Excellent Tutorial - Thanks Gary. (I think it's my second favourite - Behind "Touch of Glass"). It makes a good background for a phone too. Well, not a good background in the sense that you can see all your icons, more a good background for the "Look what Xara can do".

By the way ... The rooster looks great!

Keith in #13 are you referring to this image as "Touch of Glass" if so, I agree with you as it is one of my favs. from G.P. also. It is a lovely image and a great tut.

Yes, that's the one. I love that effect. No matter how much I look at it, it's hard to believe it's a drawing. Even the one I know I drew still amazes me.

Well, it seems we have the same tastes. I enjoyed that one, too, a couple of yrs ago.

Before I purchased XDP 6, my first version, I worked through a couple of Gary's tuts. The second one, the Rubik's Cube, is when I made my decision to purchase a license. Left to my own devices (no tuts), I would have probably made the same decision, but I don't think it would have been so quickly made. Even wrote Gary back then as soon as I finished the tutorial.

The XaraXone, both past and present, are wonderful product advertising. Far better than the blurbs on the Xara web site.
