Way to make object non renderable on image export?

Is there a way to make an object (a border) visible while working in Xara p&g designer but not visable when exporting.

The way I do it now is to make a transparent box with an outline to select the area and then make the line width zero before exporting but it is a slight inconvinience when I sometimes forget and have to export again.

Is there a way to make non renderable objects?

Put the object on its own layer and make the layer non-viewable when you want to export.
