    Default Rotating lines of text

    Hi
I'm new here sorry but I can't suss this out.
I've used one of the demo graphics and changed it to suit myself.
It has three lines of text with two rotating vertically downwards.
However the third one is rotating vertically upwards.
How do I make them all turn the same way please?
    Kind regards

    Not very good is it?
Did it myself in Magix Movie Edit Pro.
I'm sure it could have been done with Xara.
    Frankly I'm helpful on forums.
This is my first visit and I'm not impressed.

Hi Kingell you should be able to select all the text with the cursor (I beam) tool and then from the animation options choose the animation you want.

EDIT: Sorry this is the first time I have seen this post.

Perhaps if you assisted members by naming the animation that you're using you'd getter a better response

many of those could be spambots - or curious guests unable to help - you just don't know do you

so am I, but I am also not impressed by someone bitching just because they have not had a solution in less than three hours

    Many thanks for the reply.
I did try the Ibeam suggestion after looking at a tutorial
but I could only change the animation on all - not just the one line.

It seldom takes longer than a quarter of an hour elsewhere.
I'm new to this - in fact I only got the programme yesterday.
So sorry if I rattled a few cages.

Actually you can select an individual letter or a whole line and change the animation on those. You cannot (I don't think) change the animation style but you can change the rotational axis. By this I mean you cannot use multiple animation styles. I need to leave for awhile so will get back to you later with an example.

OK I'm back. Just to show you I did this just for you Kingell. This is a demo only to demonstrate some of the things you can do with the animation. I would never do this otherwise and hopefully you would not either, cause it's a real mess.

Bye the way the animation you are having trouble with, did you do it in Xara 3D?

To select individual letters or lines of text, click on the I-beam and using the arrow keys move to the letter you want to change, then holding shift move the I-beam again. the selected letter or letters will change color indicating the selection.

I'm really ashamed that I did this animation but I only did it to show you, so please look at it in that light.

    Many thanks for the effort.
I tried Xara 3d again and found
a suitable one in animation picker.
    Thanks again.
    Kind regards
