OK. I'll be the odd man out. Being the forum junky I am, the only "new news" for me in the outsider are any specials. About everything else is a recap of what's already gone on in the forum. I don't need to see the sales stuff...all I do is upgrade and I here about that here for the most part. I would unsubscribe if I wasn't so lazy about it.

mwenz, it's true that a lot of the news in the Outsider is mentioned in TG first, but there is always the Outsider Art (this month it's Dave Cockburn, aka Squeakypics http://outsider.xara.com/art/november14/). There's also an Outsider tutorial (this month the Enhance options of the Photo Tool http://outsider.xara.com/tutorials/november14/) although admittedly they are usually more at a beginner level than Gary's Xone tutorials.

I've lucky enough to get 3 shout-outs on 3 different Xara Outsider issues this year - one pointing to my fantasy map thread, one featuring 2 of my maps as featured art (August Xara Outsider), and last month discussing my recent map commission for Brady Games/Activision Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare Strategy Guide. Its nice to know the software I prefer to use points to my work for other Xara users to notice.
