Default Xara Designer Pro X10 vs Xara Photo & Graphic Designer 10

    Hi Folks,

Now I am really confused, and I mean really really confused.
Right now I use the Xara Designer Pro X10 and until today I have thought
that this is the latest and most powerful Xara.
But when I today got the email:

"Save 30% on Upgrades to Xara Photo & Graphic Designer 10"

I was just lost in what is what and what is the latest Xara software.
Can someone tell me what is going ocn and why Xara Designer Pro X10
suddenly is called Xara Photo & Graphic Designer 10
    and/or what is what?

    cheers :/

Xara Photo & Graphic Designer 10 is a cut down version of the Pro version. They are two separate products.

Designer pro 10 is the top of the line product and has all of the features of all of the other products.

Yes, the multiple product variations and constant name changes (all so looooong) brought about since the Magix takeover doesn't make it easy for users to understand the product range or for forum users to assist in giving answers due to the variety of missing features within the variants.

    Look out for:
Xara Xtreme & Web Designer & Page & Layout Designer & Photo & Graphics Designer Pro CS11 (smokers version)
    Egg

Intel i7 - 4790K Quad Core + 16 GB Ram + NVIDIA Geforce GTX 1660 Graphics Card + MSI Optix Mag321 Curv monitor
    + Samsung 970 EVO Plus 500GB SSD + 232 GB SSD + 250 GB SSD portable drive + ISP = BT + Web Hosting = TSO Host

Thanks to all for all help.

So I will do not care in the future for such offers.
But One question make me wonder.
Why in the whole World do they send email to users who use the highest software end
with an upgrade offer when it is not.

More than likely, the email lists are general. They don't filter for the software you're using.

I got the same email and had wondered why, I already own version 10, but then I realised it's just a general message, not specifically aimed at me.
    I have deleted it.
    No harm done.

If your not looking to commercially print or do commercial web sites it's fine but most folk want all the bells & whistles.
    Design is thinking made visual.
