    Default Image not showing up

Has anyone ever had the issue where their image does not show up on their page?

I have the file type as a .xar document & when I open the file I can see the image I want to upload in the thumbnail. However, the page shows no image and I cant edit anything.

Every now and then the image will appear and I can begin to work on it....but then it disappears randomly.

anyone have any ways around this?

Perhaps the file got corrupted. Would it be possible to start with a new file and import the image into it?

Could you attach the xar file?

    Welcome to TalkGraphics Jay

Is the image on the MouseOff layer? It is easy to place an image on the wrong layer.

Open the Page & Layer Gallery, click the S on the MouseOff layer to isolate just the contents of this layer? It you do not see the image, then it is on another layer, more than likely the MouseOver layer.

If this is the case, Click the S icon again select the image, cut it to the clipboard (Ctrl X), select the MouseOff layer, and Edit > Paste > Paste in Place.

I had that problem with my old software and this new XARA P10. What I did was go to my hosting provider cPanel an went to the Security section and disabled "Hotlink Protection" and all of my images came up. Don't know if that will solve your issue; but it did for me.
