    Yes it does have an eraser. Is it worth getting, I cannot answer that for you. It depends on what you want.

    Didn't the eraser come in with version 8 (known as X for some unknown reason)?

    [eraser and shape-builder were the main reasons that I upgraded to ver8, not upgraded since though]

    @Rik,

    Yes, and its counterpart. If the size was more dynamic using the keyboard versus zooming, it would be a better set of tools, though. It wasn't as high on my personal list as some people's lists, but hey, I'll take most improvements and additions to the vector stuff.

    I forgot to add that Xara knows what tools are used and how often. It's part of the data they collect...

    Never saw the clamour for an eraser but I must admit I warmed to it fairly quickly and use it fairly frequently.
